Provides health care services by doctors and nurses 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday; appointment required. Parent and child services include newborn home visits, child health clinics, parent-infant/toddler groups, speech/language services for children up to age five and adults, childhood and adult update immunizations, and health programs in schools. Services for seniors and people with disabilities include home nursing, home support, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy; and referrals to meal programs, adult day centres, and residential care facilities. Offers home-based palliative care and referrals to hospices. Serves the Midtown Community Health Area, which includes Mount Pleasant, Kensington, Little Mountain/Riley Park, and South Cambie. Also houses the Bridge Community Health Clinic, described independently in this ‘community health centres/clinics’ section.

The Medical Services Branch investigates reports from patients about charges they believe contravene the Medicare Protection Act. If you wish to have charges in connection with insured MSP benefits investigated, submit the details in writing to the address below. Be sure to include your Personal Health Number and any documentation and receipts.
